FACILITIES ENGINEER

About the Company  - Our Client is group of companies is is responsible for all aspects of the projects relating to building services, ensuring that the day-to-day duties are performed professionally and expeditiously to support the project’s ongoing progress.

About the Role  –

• Manage and finalize all bidding proposals (technical & commercial) :
• Finalize all contracts’ negotiations.
• Review all technical requirements of clients’ tenders.
• Review and analyse the technical requirements of client’s tenders :
• Examine the commercial aspects of the requirements with Management.
• Manage Bids / Proposals :
• Conduct a full and detailed study & review of the Tender documents.
• Monitor the bidding schedule closely until the bid submission.
• Set the strategy for soliciting prices (local), including possible pre-bid exclusivity agreements with selected vendors.
• Conduct comparisons between new bids and ongoing / past projects with the Cost Control / Supply chain Departments.
• Set the strategy for pricing regarding staff & labor availability, housing, partnerships, logistics, etc. Prepare all-inclusive rates for labor in coordination with the HR and Finance Department.
• Prepare cost analysis and Budget plan. Review, explain, and / or present estimate summaries to Board members.
• Manage all Tender proposals.
• Ensure compliance with Tender documents.
• Ensure pricing effort is thorough, complete, and accurate.
• Ensure technical data is complete. Assess project engineering / value engineering.
• Review Financial & Technical proposal package before submittal.
