Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient history, physical examination, and diagnostic test results
• Monitor and manage patients undergoing dialysis treatments
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as kidney biopsies, urinalysis, and blood work
• Prescribe and adjust medications and treatments to achieve optimal results and manage side effects
• Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive approach to patient care
• Educate patients and their families on kidney disease and self-care management strategies
• Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of nephrology
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committees to promote best practices and enhance patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment plans
• Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of conduct and patient confidentiality
