Sr Admissions Counselor

Job Description

• Explain admission procedures and courses offered to prospective students and their parents through phone calls, emails, and face to face meetings.
• Identify and recommend the right course(s) and right universities based on student profile.
• Support the students throughout the admission process by answering their queries and helping them to complete the required processes.
• Maintain the target metrics by converting prospective students into confirmed admission and succeed in achieving the performance goals.
• Work with students to complete their applications and guide them through the eligibility and academic qualifications and criteria (UCAS, Common app, OUAC etc).
• Participate in the decision-making process for student admissions based on college policies and guidelines.
• Participate in educational events, college fairs, information sessions, sales meetings, and recruitment activities.
• Maintain regular communication with students, parents, colleagues, and external agencies for coordinating admission activities and resolving issues and queries without delays.
• Coordinate with high schools (counselors) for admission activities, including student registration, testing, and recruitment. Build broad knowledge on college admission activities and guidelines.
• Participate in creating social media posts, articles write ups, webinars, and other PR interactions, which are related to the admission consulting realm.
• As an Education Consultant, you will be constantly working on improving your product knowledge, monitoring the progress of application and taking into consideration the feedback of clients.
• Collaborating with the team (all departments) to ensure overall company growth.
• Abiding by the curriculum and training modules to ensure that you successfully support students through their transition from secondary to higher education.
