Project Engineer - Thermal Power Plant

Job description

• Assist Project Managers in executing FEED, detailed design, feasibility, and concept design for Thermal Power Projects.
• Electrical or Process engineering design review skills.
• Gas Turbine power plant, waste to energy power plant experience with design review , PMC Experience.
• Attend and participate in internal and external project design review meetings, including preparation of Minutes of Meetings.
• Monitor design work progress and prepare weekly status reports for each assignment.
• Ensure project deliverables are submitted according to the planned schedule.
• Incorporate interfaces / requirements between all internal disciplines to achieve project objectives.
• Interpret client requirements and effectively communicate them to the team.
• Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, performance standards, and specifications.
• Manage, guide, coordinate, and direct subcontractors for both site management and engineering.
• Ensure interfaces / requirements between all engineering disciplines (Civil , Electrical, I&C, Mechanical , Telecom ) are incorporated where required, to achieve objectives.
• Support in preparation of progress reports in coordination with Project services team.
• Interpret clients’ requirements and effectively communicates to the team. Writing project communication (letter / emails ) to Client , Contractor , subcontractor.
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA / QC procedures, performance standards and specifications.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants site Sr. Engineer and schedule cost control manger to provide assistance and technical support.
• Able to demonstrate sufficient engineering / technical knowledge and awareness of details to be able to recognize identification of technical problems and to initiate appropriate corrective actions.
