Responsibility
- Contract Management : Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, primarily focusing on tech wholesale services, network procurement, IT solutions, marketing, and general procurement (e.g., software installation, licenses, and support).
- Regulatory Affairs : Handle local and international regulatory matters, including telecommunications licensing, statutory filings, and liaison with regulators.
- Internal Advisory : Advise teams on contract status, policies, and standards, ensuring alignment with company procedures.
- Process Improvement : Support the optimization of contracting processes and compliance frameworks.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Provide legal support across compliance, finance, operations, and business development for regional projects.
- Documentation : Refine legal templates, playbooks, and training materials; manage contract and agreement archives.
- Ad-hoc Assignments : Participate in additional projects as required.
Requirements
Education :Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) in Common Law or equivalent.Bar admission in one of the MENA countries or an international jurisdiction are a plus.Experience :Minimum of 7 years of experience in a legal role, preferably within the telecommunications, technology, or related industries. Experience in telecommunications regulatory affairs is a merit.Experience working in multiple jurisdictions across the MENA region is highly desirable.Skills & Competencies :Strong understanding of corporate and commercial law, especially in the telecom sector.Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in MENA countries, particularly in telecom licensing and compliance.High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
