We are looking for an enthusiastic, solution-oriented individual to fill the Site Information Manager (SIM) role. This position requires someone capable of managing IT services on-site, ensuring seamless operations, and serving as the main point of contact for IT-related queries.
Tasks and Responsibilities :
- Serve as the main point of contact for employees experiencing IT issues
- Provide 1st / 2nd level support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems
- Install and configure desktop hardware and software, ensuring usability and performance
- Manage Active Directory and Exchange accounts, implementing adds / moves / changes
- Support VPN, network switches, firewalls, and other network elements
- Oversee asset management and ensure proper maintenance
- Ensure compliance with IT standards and provide solutions in line with business objectives
- Train and advise staff on IT systems and software applications
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams when necessary
- Maintain regular communication with end-users regarding progress, updates, and potential outages
Requirements
Strong understanding of IT systems, products, and trendsAt least 1 year of experience in a similar roleProficiency in :Windows OS (Windows 10 & 11)Microsoft Office & Office 365 applicationsPC / Laptop hardware and peripherals (printers, mobile devices)Basic knowledge of Active Directory and ExchangeITIL certification and familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow) are a plusKnowledge of GMP / GxP is an advantageFluent in English (written and spoken)Strong customer focus with a passion for IT service deliveryExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and follow established processesFlexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative mindsetBenefits
