The General Manager will lead the end-to-end strategy, development, and execution of a growing real estate platform. The role is responsible for expanding the portfolio through development, acquisitions, and strategic investments, while optimizing existing assets. Key priorities include evaluating feasibility, securing land and project financing, and building a pipeline of income-generating developments. The role also oversees facilities management and ensures operational performance aligns with the wider strategic vision.
Strategic Leadership :
- Define and drive the vision, mission, and long-term strategy for the real estate platform
- Lead the development of a growth-oriented plan focused on acquisitions, development pipeline, and recurring income
- Oversee feasibility assessments and alignment with broader group investment priorities
- Collaborate with senior leadership on capital planning, deal approvals, and investment committee matters
- Build relationships with banks, brokers, and government bodies to support sourcing and execution
- Lead deal structuring, JV partnerships, legal reviews, and due diligence processes
- Evaluate existing portfolio for value creation, divestment, and repositioning opportunities
Operational Oversight :
- Oversee end-to-end development including project planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery
- Lead asset and property management functions to optimize performance
- Manage internal and external stakeholders including contractors, consultants, and service providers
- Ensure risk management, compliance, and alignment with corporate governance standards
- Establish SOPs and operational best practices across the real estate function
Financial Accountability :
- Develop 3–5 year financial plans in coordination with finance leadership
- Ensure P&L ownership, cost control, and disciplined capital allocation
- Secure project financing and monitor ROI, IRR, NPV, and overall investment performance
- Drive EBITDA growth and value-creation across the portfolio
Key Requirements :
- 10–15 years’ experience in real estate development and investment
- At least 7 years of experience in the UAE market
- Strong expertise in land acquisition, deal structuring, and JV partnerships
- Background in financial modeling, feasibility analysis, and project financing
