To provide technical support to a concentrated solar power plant and its associated utilities, including the Rankine cycle (Power Block), to optimize electricity generation within defined quality, safety, and cost parameters over the long term. The role involves meeting internal and external commitments and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of the facility and its capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Equivalent experience and / or education demonstrating comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Experience
At least 15 years of experience in power plant operations.Skills
Ability to promote teamwork within a multinational workforce.Proficient in English, both spoken and written.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Proficient with PC software, CMMS, and capable of writing technical reports and procedures.Good command of English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.Adaptable and flexible to changes.Knowledge of SCADA systems (e.g., Metso, Siemens, ABB).Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, and CMMS systems.Knowledge of Windows, Unix, and Solaris operating systems.General Guidelines
