Ambulance Driver

The Ambulance Driver is responsible for safely operating emergency vehicles to transport patients to and from medical facilities The role requires prompt response to emergency calls adherence to road safety laws and support to medical staff during transit Key Responsibilities Drive the ambulance safely to and from scenes of emergencies and healthcare facilities Ensure the ambulance is clean wellmaintained and stocked with necessary equipment Assist paramedics in loading unloading patients and handling medical equipment Follow traffic laws and emergency driving protocols at all times Maintain accurate logs of trips vehicle maintenance and incidents Support patient care within the scope of nonmedical duties Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately Qualifications and Requirements Valid UAE driving license Category 3 or relevant for ambulance vehicles High school diploma or equivalent preferred Basic knowledge of first aid is an advantage Good physical fitness and ability to assist with patient lifting Ability to remain calm in stressful situations Prior experience in emergency driving or patient transport preferred Good communication skills and understanding of basic English or Arabic
