Manager - Enterprise Risk Management & Insurance (UAE National)

Job Description

• Proactively identify, analyse, and prioritise potential risks to the group's objectives, operations, and assets
• Develop and implement risk management strategies and mitigation plans in collaboration with stakeholders
• Evaluate and manage insurance policies and coverage, and lead insurance workstreams for new projects
• Ensure regulatorypliance and prepare risk management reports for stakeholders
• Work with senior management, business subsidiaries, and joint ventures
• Foster a risk-aware culture within the organisation and encouraging proactive risk identification approaches

The Successful Applicant

• UAE National with Family Book. Fluent in Arabic & English
• A minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in risk management / insurance within infrastructure focused business (such as the National Grid, etc)
• Bachelor's degree in risk management, finance, business administration, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as Certified Enterprise Risk Manager (CERM), ISO 31000 Enterprise Risk Management, or similar are highly preferred
• Strong understanding of insurance principles and practices
• Proven experience in managing insurance portfolios, including policy assessment, claims management, and negotiation
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements andpliance related to risk management and insurance within the UAE
