Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive study of the project specifications, scope of work, Bill of Quantity (BOQ), drawings, commission of project documents upon receipt of the project award letter.
  • Comprehensive study for project contractual documents and terms of contract.
  • Technical Support for Project Managers.
  • Prepare claims letters to the client / consultant
  • Conducting all contractual procedures during construction in order to preserve our company rights in variations, if any
  • Prepare contractual letters to consultant and subcontractors in accordance with FIDIC general conditions
  • Review LOIs prepared by technical engineers before issuance.
  • Review the general & particular terms of subcontractors contract before sign
  • Review the Technical part of the quotations received form subcontractors.
  • Review all submittal prepared by technical engineers before submitting to the consultant.
  • Review civil shop drawing method of statement and material submittals prepared by sub-contractors before submitting to the consultant, and follow up the approval from client / consultants after submission.
  • Review all enquiries prepared by Technical Engineers before sending to sub-contractors..
  • Secure approvals for finalized subcontractors from clients / consultants.
  • Maintain Communication with all suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and consultant.
  • Support Mechanical and Electrical Engineers on their documents / letter requirements
  • Implementation of the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) at the project sites.
  • Preparation of all required measurements as per the drawing and quantities.
  • Attending weekly meeting with operations manager and project managers for discussing the project status and problems that arising in the projects.
  • Prepare contractual replies to Clients, consultants and subcontractors letters.
  • Secure all required documents after receiving LOA to be submitted to the consultant / client.
  • Record and inform the consultant comments on the project’s time frame to planning engineers to correct it accordingly.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time

Desired Candidate Profile

Special Requirements :

  • Ability to read, comprehend and interpret architectural drawings,
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a multi tasking team oriented environment with a high level of
  • quality consciousness.

  • Knowledge of Estimation techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design of construction sites.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other
