Job Description

Responsible for building and enhancing the Key Client Group and Private Banking proposition across all international private banking countries, with a focus on the MENA region, including KSA, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman.

The objective is to, in liaison with the Global Head of Private Banking and other key stakeholders, formulate and implement strategy, including diversifying revenue streams, client-centric value & service propositions, governance, and performance metrics, fostering collaboration and teamwork.

Lead strategy development and implementation for private banking across all relevant MENA regions in coordination with the Head of Global Private Banking.

Manage KPIs and performance metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.

Lead coverage accountability across MENA private banking centers to deliver diversified revenue streams through investment advisory, investment management, execution-only services, and bespoke solutions such as real estate financing, private equity, wealth solutions, jumbo insurance, and Shariah-compliant solutions.

Engage with international private banking teams, head office, legal, compliance, risk management, regulators, and service providers to support and deliver value propositions.

Oversee commercial arrangements, sourcing, and vendor management to ensure a holistic approach.

Support adherence to regulatory frameworks and lead training initiatives to enhance knowledge of client-centric propositions.

Participate in budget discussions and lead target setting and monitoring.

Support initiatives to promote Global Private Banking brand awareness and center-specific excellence, including media, web content, and industry recognition.

Represent the bank at industry forums and conferences on relevant topics.

Lead special situations and client restructurings involving external stakeholders and senior executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science, Math, or Liberal Arts.
• Master's degree (MBA) and / or professional designation preferred.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the MENA region, finance, investments, and private banking engagement.
• Broad knowledge of asset classes and products such as mutual funds, structured products, private equity, etc.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Minimum 15 years in Private Banking, with expertise in management, investment banking, or investment management. Arabic speaking is a plus.
