Safety Officer Job Location UAE Key Responsibilities Implement and monitor comprehensive health safety and environmental HSE protocols across all relevant company sites ensuring adherence to best practices Conduct regular site inspections and detailed risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards Ensure full compliance with all applicable local UAE and international safety regulations and standards Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs including toolbox talks to employees at all levels promoting a strong safety culture Thoroughly investigate incidents and accidents prepare comprehensive reports and recommend effective corrective and preventative actions Maintain accurate and uptodate safety records permits and incident logs ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements Collaborate with site management and other departments to proactively address safety concerns and improve overall HSE performance Participate in safety audits and inspections contributing to continuous improvement initiatives Requirements Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health Safety or a closely related field NEBOSH IGC International General Certificate or an equivalent internationally recognized HSE certification is mandatory Minimum 35 years of UAE experience in a construction or aluminium industry setting Experience in multiple sectors within the Al Khalidiya Group portfolio is highly advantageous Indepth knowledge of UAE labor laws and safety regulations Excellent communication interpersonal leadership and reporting skills Ability to effectively communicate safety information to diverse workforces Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
