Key Responsibilities Review project drawings specifications and scope of work Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations Develop and submit bid proposals and tenders Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies Maintain and update estimating databases and historical data Support during negotiations and contract finalization Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field 45 years of relevant experience in estimating for construction projects Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and costs Proficiency in estimating software e g Bluebeam WinEst CostX Excellent analytical communication and negotiation skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
