Piping Material Engineer

Responsibilities Prepare piping material specifications valve datasheets and material requisitions Select appropriate piping materials based on service conditions and project requirements Ensure compliance with international codes and standards ASME ASTM API etc Coordinate with design procurement and construction teams to ensure material compatibility Review vendor documents technical bids and provide recommendations Support resolution of materialrelated issues during design procurement and construction Maintain material traceability and support QA QC processes Requirements Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Minimum 5 8 years of experience in piping material engineering preferably in EPC or oil gas projects Strong knowledge of piping classes material selection and international codes Familiarity with material management systems and 3D design integration Excellent communication documentation and coordination skills
