We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Piping Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Lead Piping Engineer, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing the design and implementation of complex piping systems. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring all projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within budget. This position demands excellent technical abilities, strong leadership qualities, and a comprehensive understanding of regulatory standards. As a key player in our engineering department, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions and optimize piping processes. Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of piping systems for various projects.
Coordinate and supervise the work of piping engineers and designers.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Identify and mitigate potential risks related to piping engineering projects.
Contribute to the preparation and management of project budgets and schedules.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineering staff members.
Conduct regular inspections and quality control of piping installations.
Liaise with clients to understand project specifications and requirements.
Develop detailed documentation and reports for project stakeholders.
Implement innovative solutions to improve piping system efficiency and safety.
Ensure effective communication and coordination among all project team members.
Stay updated on the latest technologies and advancements in piping engineering.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or relevant field.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in piping engineering roles.

Proven track record of managing complex piping projects successfully.

Strong knowledge of relevant software and computer-aided design tools.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities in engineering contexts.

Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as ASME and ISO.

Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, for client interactions.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and promoting safety practices.
