Job Description
The Site Supervisor – Fire Fighting Installations is responsible for supervising on-site activities, ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety compliance, and timely execution of firefighting installation works. The role involves managing subcontractors, conducting safety briefings, coordinating with inspectors, and adhering to project schedules and company standards.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure work is consistently produced to high standards in accordance with specifications and quality documents.
- Direct and supervise day-to-day activities of subordinates and subcontractors.
- Enforce compliance with operational procedures and approved method statements.
- Prepare and deliver site inductions, safety briefings, and toolbox talks.
- Assess and manage safety hazards, raise concerns, and ensure adherence to HSE policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain quality control procedures aligned with the company’s ISO 9001 Management Systems.
- Liaise with consultants and quality inspectors for routine inspections.
- Ensure completion of work as per project schedules and construction programs.
- Enforce site rules and ensure welfare facilities comply with legal standards.
- Verify that on-site materials meet specified quality standards.
- Monitor plant, equipment, and materials to support successful project execution.
- Participate in site progress and safety meetings.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Project Engineer.
- Stay updated on innovative firefighting installation techniques and products.
Requirements
Diploma in Electrical (3 Years) or equivalent ITI (2 Years Course) in Electrical EngineeringMore than 2 years of experience in installations and supervisionProficiency in English languageBenefits
