Why this role?
Our Country Manager for the UAE will drive revenue growth, develop and execute customer and partner acquisition strategies, and build Cohere’s presence in the region. You will lead and mentor our sales team to surpass revenue and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and lead a go-to-market growth strategy and sales plan for the country.
- Coordinate with our global account team on key partnerships.
- Provide sales and operational leadership to cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to align efforts.
- Represent Cohere in the local market, promoting our vision and services.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and engage with regulators and government agencies.
- Manage relationships with enterprise clients and partners, pursue new business opportunities, and close high-value deals.
- Work with global teams to establish best practices for project implementations and maintain client engagement.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to inform strategic decisions.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
15+ years of experience in driving revenue and leading go-to-market efforts in a technology organization within the region.Proven success in enterprise solution sales and business development, with a strong regional network.Experience partnering with consulting firms, system integrators, and enterprise clients, including negotiation and closing deals.Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.Comfortable working in a matrix environment with cross-functional teams.Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently.Experience in AI or related industries is highly desirable.If your experience aligns closely or not perfectly, we encourage you to apply!
