Assignment Description

• The Commissioning SAS (Safety and Automation System) Engineer is responsible for monitoring the quality of discipline-related documentation on design solutions and all engineering activities within EPC towards ICT disciplines.
• The Commissioning SAS System Responsible Engineer shall ensure that all necessary information to execute commissioning and start-up is available from all contractor sides.
• The Commissioning ICT Engineer shall review all FAT and SAT procedures and vendor commissioning procedures.
• Be the Commissioning System Responsible Engineer for SAS / SIS.
• Ensure activities within the discipline conform to the project framework, contract requirements, Project Execution Plan, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Coordinate effectively with the base organization, project team, and client to define scope and ensure clarity.
• Collaborate with the AIP Regulatory Compliance & Verification Lead and contractors to define and execute compliance activities.
• Review and comment on SAS discipline documents prepared by the contractor.
• Monitor contractor activities and deliverables to ensure regulatory and contract compliance, and verify system compatibility and functionality.
• Oversee the development of relevant SAS system documentation.
• Participate in work pack reviews, ensuring scope completeness.
• Review and assist in resolving issues from Certifying Authority on SAS / ICT system designs.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, and safety studies.
• Attend meetings and inspections globally as needed.
• Manage queries and action items via PIMS or MOM.
• Work closely with other disciplines in the FEED Management Team.
• Review FAT plans and participate in testing of ICT / SAS equipment.
• Call upon discipline resources as necessary to maintain quality and schedule.
• Report delays or failures in design or implementation to the SAS / ICT lead, and ensure corrective actions.
