Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Arabic Cook to join our dynamic catering team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of traditional Arabic cuisine and the ability to prepare authentic dishes in high volumes for events, banquets, and daily operations. This role requires both culinary expertise and strong organizational skills to ensure consistent food quality and timely service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare a diverse range of Arabic dishes including mezze, main courses, rice specialties kabsa, mandi), grilled meats, and traditional desserts.
- Cook in large quantities while ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Collaborate on menu planning based on client preferences, event types, and seasonal ingredients.
- Manage food preparation timelines to ensure timely service during catering events.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety throughout the kitchen and food handling processes.
- Supervise kitchen setup and assist with food presentation and display at catering venues.
- Monitor food inventory levels, report shortages, and assist in ordering and restocking ingredients.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and HACCP regulations and standards.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as an Arabic Cook in a professional catering or hospitality environment.Strong knowledge of Arabic cooking techniques, spices, and traditional recipes.Experience with large-scale food production and event catering.Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Solid understanding of food safety standards and HACCP principles.Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
