Job Description

A Plastic Surgeon is a medical specialist dedicated to reconstructing, repairing, and enhancing physical appearance and body functions. This role requires not only technical surgical expertise but also an artistic eye to ensure aesthetic beauty in the outcomes. Plastic Surgeons work on various parts of the body and perform procedures ranging from cosmetic enhancements to complex reconstructions after trauma or medical conditions. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, compassion, and strong communication skills to ensure patients are comfortable and informed throughout the surgical journey.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations to understand their needs and set realistic expectations.
• Perform a variety of cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries, including facial surgeries.
• Evaluate patient medical histories and develop tailored surgical treatment plans.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to ethical medical practices during all procedures.
• Collaborate with medical teams to achieve comprehensive patient care and optimal outcomes.
• Stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and technologies for continuous improvement.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care, ensuring smooth recovery and monitoring progress.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and data management systems.
• Engage in continuing education and training to enhance surgical skill and knowledge.
• Participate in or conduct research to advance medical knowledge in plastic surgery.
• Advise patients on long-term care and health practices post-surgery for sustained results.
• Manage and mentor medical staff, providing guidance and leadership in surgical practices.
