Manage and implement all required cost control and audit procedures for all Project Cost Control activities designed to measure the project status.
Assess, evaluate and make recommendations related to any financial claim and providing the necessary input with regards to the contracts in place.
Evaluate all variations, additional works, field changes, additions and omission, and incorporation of the same with the Monthly Cost reports.
Prepare pricing Change Orders and negotiating agreement with the Contractor / Consultants as necessary.
Report on contractual and financial matters related to all consultancy / contracting companies.
Liaise with senior representatives of third party, project management, consultant, main contractor and subcontractor organizations.
Review and verify all contract documentation between the consultancy / contracting companies and any other party.
Maintains proper and complete communication with the Project Team on all commercial related issues.
Provide guidance to project staff on commercial issues.
Participate in cost and contractual review meetings and reports thereon.
Oversee the completion of all close out formalities and the final account for the projects.
Deal with and resolution of problematic contractual issues and safeguards the company’s interest at all times.
Candidate Requirements :
Circa 10 years experience with ideally some time spent in the UAE, however, the right candidate looking for his 1st step into the UAE market could also be considered.
Degree qualified preferred with MRICS membership an advantage
