Job Description
The Private Banker is responsible for developing business across diverse markets and regions, focusing on private clients, family offices of UHNWI & HNWI, with offshore and onshore locations. The role aims to achieve high sales revenues and AUMs, increase market share, and provide clients with exceptional service and comprehensive investment solutions.
Key responsibilities include :
- Building and managing a portfolio of UHNWI & HNWI clients, delivering personalized services.
- Expanding the client base through referrals, contacts, and marketing efforts.
- Proactively enhancing private banking offerings by supporting internal processes.
- Managing projects end-to-end, developing new business, and exploring market opportunities.
- Promoting the bank's main services : Private Banking, Wealth Protection, and Portfolio Management, including derivatives and esoteric funds.
- Maintaining client portfolios, providing advice, and ensuring compliance with international standards.
- Participating in product development and marketing activities.
- Fostering relationships with decision-makers, promoting cross-selling within the bank's global network.
- Supporting the management of the UAE office and liaising with support staff as needed.
Qualifications
Job Knowledge
Deep understanding of FAB policies, AML, OFAC, and KYC requirements in private banking.Knowledge of private banking disciplines : Banking, Investment / Portfolio Management, and Fiduciary services.Familiarity with offshore jurisdictions and investment banking products.Ability to follow financial markets and advise holistically.Understanding of local and offshore markets, especially Geneva.Relationship management and business development expertise.Professional & Technical Skills
Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic, French, Hindi, or Urdu is desirable.Ability to develop client relationships, identify opportunities, and develop new market segments.Skills in assessing financial needs, risk tolerances, and developing investment solutions.Experience in product development and bespoke solutions.Ability to handle due diligence and compliance processes.Personal Skills & Behaviors
