About the business area

The Retail Banking Group (RBG) supports retail and micro-business customers in managing their finances through expert advice and a full suite of specialist products and services in conventional and Shari’ah compliant banking. The business is committed to digital innovation to deliver excellence in customer service. We are seeking an ambitious professional to join our Retail Banking team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

In this role, your key responsibilities include :

  • Marketing Management - Work closely with senior management on branding and marketing strategies, develop annual business plans, and oversee marketing programs to ensure alignment with the Bank’s strategy and standards.
  • Marketing Plans - Develop and manage strategic marketing plans, monitor industry trends and competition, and control advertising and promotion budgets to ensure effective utilization.
  • People Management - Manage team performance, set objectives, develop staff, and foster engagement and motivation in accordance with ADCB’s policies.
  • Budget Management - Assist in budget preparation, monitor financial performance, and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures - Recommend and implement improvements to departmental policies and procedures to ensure best-in-class service and innovation.
  • Continuous Improvement - Contribute to organizational change initiatives, adopting best practices and standards.
  • Customer Service - Deliver high levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions, adhering to ADCB standards.

The ideal candidate should have the following experience

  • At least 9 years of marketing experience in the Financial Services sector, managing strategy and program rollouts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Branding, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills; knowledge of Arabic is desirable.
  • Experience managing service level agreements and working within SOPs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
