As a Key Account Manager, the employee will be responsible for identifying and building new business while managing existing accounts.
The position and what the employee will do :
- Drive profitable sales growth on from current and new customers within your portfolio
- Develop robust and measurable Sales Activity Plans, and action assertively to deliver on the agreed targets
- Build the sales pipeline to hit the targets as specified based on quality opportunities on existing accounts (share of wallet) and new business
- Ensure customer portfolio adhere to all terms, including credit, and that the deal generate optimal return through proactive contract management
- The customer market area is - GCC countries / Middle East.
Required Experience and Skills
Bachelors degree or equivalent marine qualification preferred.Ideal to have someone with Marine or Mechanical Engineer qualificationsExperience within the region particularly Saudi Arabia or Kuwait is beneficial.Arabic speaker is desirable to manage the specific customer area.Preferably international sales experience in technical salesResults oriented and with demonstrated achievements in salesProven track record of establishing and maintaining relationships with customersAbility to work independently by planning and organizing own workAmbitious and a strong desire for success with a commercial mindsetAble to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of prioritiesIT literate / digital savviness, with experience from working with excel, MS office, CRM systems etc.Proven communication skills and a good command of the English language (verbal and written)Good time management & allocation of prioritiesAbility to change and drive change
