Job Overview

As Head of Commercial Banking, you will be responsible for leading client acquisition and relationship management, driving revenue growth, and ensuring best-in-class service delivery. The role involves P&L management, strategic planning, staff development, and alignment with FAB s overall growth agenda in corporate banking services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning, budgeting, and performance management for the Commercial Banking department
• Originate and manage key client relationships to expand wallet share and deepen market presence
• Set and review departmental KPIs and targets, ensuring optimal portfolio health and revenue delivery
• Supervise financial health analysis of clients and ensure proactive risk mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with product, treasury, Islamic banking, and investment teams for cross-selling initiatives
• Oversee credit structuring and ensure all client proposals meet internal credit quality benchmarks
• Drive talent development, succession planning, and performance management for the team
• Maintain compliance with regulatory policies and internal audit standards
• Represent FAB in major client negotiations and lead business pitches for high-value mandates
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline service delivery and operational excellence
• Report to senior leadership on performance metrics, product gaps, and market trends
