We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) to join a reputable hospital in Dubai. The ideal candidate will specialize in evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients with functional impairments due to injury, illness, or disability. The role focuses on restoring physical function and improving quality of life through a multidisciplinary approach.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients requiring physical therapy.
• Diagnose pain resulting from injury, disease, or disabling conditions.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
• Perform medical procedures such as disc decompression, prolotherapy, and vertebroplasty to treat pain and improve function.
• Lead a team of healthcare professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, to optimize patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Provide adaptive tools to enhance patients' health and physical functioning.
• Counsel patients and families, assisting them in adapting to lifestyle changes.
• Support patients receiving long-term care.
• Conduct research to improve treatment methods for injuries, diseases, and disabilities.
