Procurement Officer Job Location UAE Key Responsibilities Source and procure goods and services based on company requirements Negotiate contracts prices and terms with suppliers to achieve the best value Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and assess cost trends Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality timeliness and compliance with agreements Prepare and issue purchase orders ensuring accuracy and adherence to budget limits Maintain and update procurement records including contracts invoices and payment details Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and plan purchases accordingly Ensure compliance with local regulations procurement policies and ethical standards Skills Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices Proficiency in using procurement software and tools e g SAP Oracle or similar Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to analyze and interpret data to support decisionmaking Strong organizational and timemanagement skills 3 years of experience in procurement supply chain or a related role Certification in procurement or supply chain management e g CIPS CPSM is a plus
