Senior Electrical Engineer

We are currently looking for Senior Electrical Engineer to be based in Abu Dhabi location.

Main Purpose of Role :

Key Engineering Role within the business to lead discipline performance on projects & to provide expert technical design leadership and design assurance on projects as required.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with relevant discipline from recognized university
  • Master’s degree in relevant discipline will be an added advantage\

Knowledge / Experience (Skills) :

Essential

  • 10 -17 years of Oil & Gas Design Experience.

    • Advantage

  • Previous experience in Region
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a Lead Engineer
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in FEED projects

    • Approved by ADNOC group of companies

    Technical Knowledge and Skills (Discipline Specific) :

  • Knowledge of in-depth engineering processes
  • Experience with international codes, standards and engineering practices
  • Must be experienced with all aspects of design from concept to detailed design
  • Technical analysis of engineering problems
  • Preparation of non-critical engineering design documents
  • Knowledge of detailed engineering of electrical systems including design calculations, protection and relay coordination, preparation of single line diagrams, layouts, schedules, specifications etc.
  • Must have experience in power system analysis using ETAP / CYME or equivalent, short circuit calculations, load flow calculations, harmonic analysis, selectivity analysis and transient stability analysis.
  • Knowledge of sizing and specifications of normal and emergency power generation and distribution, motor control centres, UPS, DC system, utility electrical systems, power, earthing and lighting.
  • Must have experience in the design of high voltage and high power electrical distribution systems.
  • Knowledge of field testing procedures and field test equipment.
  • Must have a demonstrable ability to provide top class engineering deliverables, as directed by the Project Study lead, without constant supervision, as per company technical competency standards.
