Ciklum is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team full-time in UAE.

We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. About the role :

The ideal candidate will possess a robust foundation of product management skills and will be capable of executing their responsibilities without guidance. This role requires a deep understanding of product management best practices, effective research methods, and the ability to communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders and technical teams.

Our client is a technology business that runs large-scale transformation engagements across various verticals, including the public sector. You will be part of a key initiative to modernize a nationwide government platform through comprehensive digital transformation. By leveraging advanced web portals, mobile applications, CRM systems, predictive analytics, and AI, our dynamic team aims to enhance and streamline core services for government officials, the legal ecosystem, and citizens. Our primary focus is on ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and adherence to rigorous performance and security standards.

Responsibilities

Work on Continuous Product Discovery :

  • Lead and participate in collaborative product discovery efforts, instilling a culture of exploration and validation within the team
  • Conduct deep market research and user studies to uncover opportunities for product innovation, using data-driven insights to shape product strategy
  • Recognize great design, critically assess what is valuable for end-users, and collaborate with the design team to contribute to design decisions
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive, high-complexity product roadmap, ensuring that it drives growth and is clearly communicated across stakeholders at all levels
  • Effectively manage and prioritize the product backlog, considering all relevant factors

Execute Cross-functional Leadership :

  • Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch and scaling
  • Understand and apply the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) effectively, communicating technical concepts clearly with the development team
  • Inspire cross-functional teams to think creatively, ensuring product development is guided by customer feedback, market trends, and business impact
  • Work independently with engineering, design, and other teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery
  • Translate complex technical requirements into clear, motivating objectives for the team. Facilitate discussions with technical teams to ensure alignment and understanding
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills, consistently meeting deadlines

    • Leverage Essential Skills for Dynamic Product Management :

  • Clearly articulate product vision, strategies, and technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, tailoring communication to different audiences and ensuring alignment across teams
  • Make informed, data-driven decisions that align with company goals, even in complex or uncertain situations, ensuring that product development is focused on measurable outcomes
  • Show initiative and solve problems independently
  • Demonstrate effective leadership skills, inspiring and motivating team members
  • Leverage effective presentation techniques and an ability to engage the audience with compelling storytelling and well-designed visual aids
  • Demonstrate strong time management and teamwork skills, working collaboratively to meet deadlines and tackle product challenges, especially in complex situations
  • Mentor junior team members and encourage continuous learning

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field building / shipping technical products
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a technology-focused environment
  • Proven ability to manage product lifecycles and understand customer-centric product development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience handling product management tools and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team- oriented environment
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
  • Fluent English speaker, fluency in Arabic would be an advantage
