Our client is looking for a passionate and hardworking Commis Chef to join their kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who’s at the early stages of their culinary career and eager to learn in a fast-paced, professional kitchen. You will support the chefs in daily food preparation, ensuring quality, hygiene, and consistency are always maintained.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in food preparation and basic cooking under the supervision of chefs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and kitchen equipment
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards in line with company and local regulations
- Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients as per recipes and chef instructions
- Ensure ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and rotated (FIFO)
- Help with receiving and checking food deliveries
- Support other kitchen sections during busy service times
- Take part in training and development activities as required
