Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Planning
- Develop and lead logistics master planning for EV production, including inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics.
- Design logistics infrastructure : warehouses, battery-safe storage, charging logistics hubs, and cross-docking points.
- Forecast logistics demand based on EV production ramps, plant expansion, and product launches.
Network Design & Optimization
Build an agile EV logistics network that meets just-in-time and just-in-sequence requirements.Map optimized transport routes for batteries, motors, and large components, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.Design reverse logistics flows for battery recycling , returns , and remanufacturing .Implementation & Execution
Lead the rollout of new logistics systems (WMS, TMS, SAP) and digitization of logistics operations using IoT , GPS , and digital twins .Collaborate with plant logistics, suppliers, and 3PLs to implement greenfield / brownfield logistics projects .Ensure battery transport compliance (e.g., UN38.3, ADR, DG transport).Sustainability & Risk Management
Implement sustainable logistics solutions : electric freight vehicles, route optimization, CO₂ tracking.Identify and mitigate logistics risks in raw materials (e.g., lithium, cobalt), especially from cross-border suppliers.Lead logistics business continuity and disaster recovery planning.Team & Stakeholder Management
Manage cross-functional teams across planning , transport , warehouse , and logistics engineering .Engage with procurement, manufacturing engineering, R&D, and aftermarket teams.Oversee relationships with logistics service providers, customs agents, and government authorities
