JOB PURPOSE : Manage critical functions related to investment analysis, capital allocation, and execute strategic company initiatives while supporting the team with financial planning analysis. Promote the adoption of a structured approach to all investment evaluations, generating fully transparent information for management. Please note this role is for a UAE National only.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform rigorous financial analysis, sensitivity analysis, and review investment proposals by business lines (AM, DM).
Support the adoption of a structured approach to all investment evaluations, ensuring transparency for management.Identify key risk drivers from feasibility models and commercial considerations of proposed transactions.Ensure investment submissions comply with Investment Framework policies.Capital Allocation :Conduct periodic reviews of group return hurdles and cost of capital.
Provide data-driven recommendations on strategic objectives, particularly regarding capital allocation and strategic planning.Perform ad hoc credit analyses and liaise with credit rating agencies.Establish and review group return hurdles and cost of capital regularly.Strategic Company Initiatives :Support in originating strategic initiatives, including M&A, third-party capital raises (equity, debt).
Manage preparation of pre-IC appraisals and stakeholder alignment.Develop investment appraisals as part of the IC decision process.Execute live transactions, manage processes, and coordinate with counterparties and advisors.Consolidate inputs for 5-year financial planning and assess quality.Support strategic initiatives with financial analysis and manage financial outputs of business plans.Maintain and improve detailed corporate financial models.REQUIREMENTS
Experience : Minimum 10 years in a diverse financial environment, leading strategic finance, capital management, and investment in a publicly listed company with annual revenue of at least AED 3 billion.Technical Skills : Proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel, financial modeling (DCF, DDM, real estate, comparable analysis, merger modeling), and accounting.Interpersonal Skills : Strong presentation, communication, project management, initiative, teamwork, conflict resolution, and task management skills.Qualifications : Bachelor’s in finance, economics, or business; MBA or Master in Finance from a top-ranked school; professional qualification (e.g., CFA).KEY RESULT AREAS
