Head of Sales and Procurement Job Location United Arab Emirates Establishing vision short and longterm strategy innovative plans and strategic direction that positions organization for success Managing imports from across the globe Nurturing synergistic relations with the exporters in various countries Responsible for supply review with the management supply visibility integration inventory turns supply gap closure Tracking fluctuations in the booking prices or shipping freight to plan future imports local selling prices Planning imports in advance considering upcoming projects so as the sales team does not lose any orders due to lack of stocks or noncompetitive prices Provide supervision and leadership around inventory control maintaining turnover metrics to the inventorytosales ratio as well as proper level of stocks in warehouse in transit Tracking supply chain KPIs using three core ratios the days of inventory DOI the days of payables DOP and the days of receivables DOR Controlling credit of the customer subsequent to approval from credit control department and keeping updated with the financial stability of their business with regular visits Maintaining the inventory velocity turnover with inventory days of supply with ontime shipping to increase Gross Margin Return On Investment GMROI Exploring new business opportunity with the new innovative products launched in the international markets to diversify the existing product range Chairing weekly sales team meetings for business updates and collections during the week Mentoring the team in achieving an increased level of efficiency and turnaround times
