Electrical Superintendent

Short description

As an Electrical Superintendent you work closely with the Technical Superintendent to prepare dockings and repairs to the electrical equipment. You communicate between the crew on the ships, suppliers, other specialist colleagues and project employees.

Function description

As Electrical Superintendent you are part of the team with other Electrical Superintendent, Technical Superintendents and Project Engineers. This pool of colleagues is based in our office in Rotterdam with occasional travelling to a ship or yard. The team you will be working in supports the (existing) fleet. This means that you are involved in the maintenance and modifications for the electrical installations on board ships and equipment.

Skills

• You advise the Technical Superintendent on the daily situation regarding electrical systems of our ships.
• You determine the requirements for the electrical installations based on the project requirements.
• You advise on technical solutions to achieve the project goals.
• You test the technical proposals of suppliers against the requirements.
• You support the crew with electrical problems on board.
