Consultant Psychiatrist

Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and develop accurate diagnoses.

Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on the needs of each patient.

Provide psychotherapy and medication management, monitoring treatment efficacy and making necessary adjustments.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and support.

Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders and available treatment options.

Maintain up-to-date patient records and adhere to confidentiality standards.

Participate in ongoing professional development and adhere to the latest practices in psychiatry.

Requirements

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution

Board certification in Psychiatry is required

Active and valid medical license to practice

A minimum of 5 years of direct clinical experience in psychiatry

Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in a range of treatment modalities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare environment

Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care

Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous
