Start up - Co Founder

Appcend ( www.appcend.ventures) is a Dubai-based “venture / development studio”with presence across Southern Europe and the US.

We partner-up and invest our efforts withnew / existingexceptional founders to turn bold ideas into scalable startups.

This is not a paid position and we are not looking to be your employer!

We are looking to supportfounders who want to benefit fromour venture and developmentstudiocapabilities as they build theircompanies to disrupt multi-billion dollar industries.

As a Co-Founder, You Will Be Responsible For :

Taking ownership of a venture concept (developed internally or with you)
Shaping the vision, product strategy, and execution roadmap
Leading business development, partnerships, and fundraising efforts
Working closely with our studio team (design, development, strategy)
Building and leading the early founding team
Overseeing all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
Analyzing problematic situations and occurrences and providing solutions to ensure company survival and growth
Reviewing financial and non-financial results to devise solutions or improvements
Maintaining deep knowledge of the market and industry of the company
Building trust with key partners and stakeholders
Presenting the Company's vision, roadmap, and results to shareholders and potential investors

Requirements

7 years of experience in private company investing either as an advisor or investor for PE funds (not mandatory but preferred )

Excellent communication and selling skills

English is a must

Proven entrepreneurial and analytical mindset in finding solutions to complex problems with limited resources

Strong will to commit to your own entrepreneurial project for the next 3-5 years

Being comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of uncertainty

You might be a fit if :

You’re a repeat founder or early-stage operator with a builder mindset

You have experience launching products or managing teams

You’re comfortable with ambiguity and love problem-solving

You’re excited by the idea of co-building with a venture / development studio

You can commit full-time to lead and scale the venture

Bonus if you have :

Prior exit or experience raising capital

Proven track record in taking things from 0 to 1 and getting your hands dirty

Domain expertise in [e.g., fintech, healthtech, SaaS, marketplaces]

A prototype, deck, or validated idea you want help bringing to life
