HSE Officer

The HSE Officer is responsible for implementing and monitoring health safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant workplace They conduct inspections provide training and promote safety awareness to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards Key Responsibilities Develop implement and monitor HSE policies procedures and programs Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations Investigate accidents incidents and unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions Facilitate safety training and toolbox talks for employees and contractors Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment PPE and safety gear Monitor environmental impact and ensure compliance with environmental regulations Maintain accurate HSE records reports and documentation Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures Liaise with regulatory authorities during inspections and audits Promote a safety culture within the organization Qualifications Skills Proven experience as HSE Officer or similar role Indepth knowledge of HSE legislation standards and best practices Strong understanding of risk assessment and accident investigation Excellent communication and training skills Ability to conduct inspections and write detailed reports Proficiency in MS Office and HSE management software Certifications such as NEBOSH IOSH or OSHA are preferred
