Purpose of Role / Summary :
The Head of Business Development is responsible for driving business strategies, achieving organizational goals, supporting key initiatives, and ensuring the growth and success of wholesale operations. This role involves leading the business development efforts to expand market presence, build strategic partnerships, and identify new opportunities for growth and revenue generation.
Main Activities and Responsibilities :
Hire and onboard a high-performing business development team with extensive experience in the industry to drive sales targetsDevelop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets and other business development goalsConduct market research to identify new sales opportunitiesIdentify potential partnerships, local agents and IB’s to expand the company's market reach and drive sales growthSet, monitor, achieve ambitious sales targets, and ensure that business targets meet organizational expectationsSupervise, train, and develop the business development team to maximize their sales potential and overall performanceImplement effective sales techniques and tools, ensuring the business development team consistently meets or exceeds targetsClearly communicate the company's value proposition, technology, and procedures to external stakeholders to foster partnerships and drive salesCollaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service, effective retentionStay updated on daily financial market developments and identify new opportunities and suggest growth strategies to managementAny other duties relevant to the roleRequired Skills & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field10+ years of proven experience in Sales and business development, in FOREX / CFD’s broker5+ years of experience leading a team of Sales in the industryA strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives, with quantifiable achievements preferredExcellent managerial, communication and interpersonal skillsAnalytical and strategic thinking skills to identify business opportunities and trendsAbility to build and maintain strong client relationshipsNetworking and relationship-building skills to expand the company's client baseUnderstanding of market dynamics and industry trendsFamiliarity with relevant technologies or trading platforms is a mustFurther Info :
