Site Manager Substations Job Location Sharjah United Arab Emirates Key Responsibilities Project Oversight Manage all aspects of high voltage substation construction projects ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and quality standards Team Leadership Supervise site personnel including subcontractors electricians and laborers fostering a safe and productive work environment Compliance Ensure all work complies with DEWA regulations local laws and safety standards Obtain necessary permits and approvals Safety Management Implement and enforce safety protocols onsite conducting regular safety meetings and risk assessments Coordination Liaise with engineers architects and project stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and progress Reporting Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management highlighting challenges and proposed solutions Quality Control Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards Problem Solving Address any onsite issues promptly ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines Job Details Education Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in managing high voltage substation projects with a proven track record in a leadership role DEWA Approval Valid DEWA approval for site management of high voltage projects Skills Strong understanding of electrical systems construction processes and safety regulations Excellent communication and organizational skills Certifications Relevant safety certifications e g NEBOSH IOSH are preferred
