1 Sales and Product Promotion Selling Products Present and sell the companys products to potential customers using a company van as a mobile store Product Knowledge Be wellversed in the features benefits and pricing of the products being sold Achieving Sales Targets Meet or exceed sales targets set by the employer This may include tracking daily weekly or monthly sales performance 2 Customer Relationship Management Customer Service Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer needs and offering product advice Building Relationships Develop longterm relationships with clients including businesses and retail customers to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty Handling Queries and Complaints Answer any questions and resolve any complaints in a professional and timely manner 3 Route and Inventory Management Route Planning Plan and organize daily routes to maximize sales and efficiency Stock Management Ensure that products are stocked and organized in the van This includes managing inventory ensuring products are welldisplayed and keeping track of stock levels Replenishment Maintain a constant supply of stock order new products when necessary and manage stock turnover 4 Cash Handling and Payments Cash and Payment Collection Collect payments from customers and issue receipts Handle both cash and card transactions Invoicing Issue invoices for products sold ensuring all details are accurate and payment terms are clear 5 Market Research and Feedback Competitor Analysis Keep an eye on competitors offerings prices and strategies to stay competitive Customer Feedback Collect feedback from customers to relay to the company for product development or improvement 6 Documentation and Reporting Sales Reports Maintain records of sales stock levels customer details and payments made Submit regular sales reports to management Documentation Ensure that all necessary paperwork invoices receipts contracts is properly filled out and maintained 7 Compliance and Safety Compliance with Regulations Follow all local regulations related to sales transportation and health and safety Vehicle Maintenance Ensure that the van is kept in good condition perform routine checks and report any maintenance issues 8 Marketing and Promotions Promotional Activities Engage in promotional activities such as offering discounts or promotions to boost sales Branding Ensure the van is properly branded and reflects the companys image Maintain the vehicles cleanliness and appeal 9 Communication with Management Team Collaboration Work closely with other members of the sales team and communicate effectively with management regarding sales trends customer issues and stock levels Adapting to Company Strategies Implement any new sales strategies or campaigns as directed by management These roles are typically dynamic and the salesperson may be expected to handle a variety of tasks depending on the specific company or product line
