About Us Flipp is a thriving ecommerce platform specializing in preloved shoes blending sustainability with fashionforward choices Our mission is to curate an exceptional collection of preowned footwear that caters to diverse tastes from fast fashion to luxury brands Job Overview We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Merchandiser to guide our buying team in identifying the most profitable and trendaligned products The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in the footwear industry a keen eye for market trends and a strong understanding of consumer behavior in the online marketplace Key Responsibilities Educate the Buying Team Train and mentor the buying team on how to evaluate and select shoes with high resale potential Trend Analysis Monitor global trends in footwear both in fast fashion and luxury to ensure the inventory aligns with market demands DataDriven Decisions Utilize sales data and customer insights to inform buying strategies and improve inventory performance Vendor Collaboration Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to source highquality preloved shoes Forecasting Develop accurate forecasts for product performance and work with the team to optimize stock levels Consumer Insight Stay updated on online shopping behaviors and preferences particularly in the footwear segment and adapt strategies accordingly Market Competitiveness Conduct competitive analysis to position the brand as a leader in the preloved footwear space Quality Standards Ensure that sourced products meet the company s quality and brand standards Qualifications Minimum 58 years of experience in merchandising for multibrand shoe stores in Europe America or the Middle East Strong background in fashion ideally with a degree in fashion merchandising design or a related field Expertise in both fast fashion and luxury footwear Proven ability to analyze market trends and consumer behavior Experience working in ecommerce or online retail Excellent communication organizational and analytical skills A passion for sustainability and the resale industry is a plus Salary Range AED AED Please note we work 6 days a week MondaySaturday from 8AM5PM
