Position Overview

The English Teacher, reporting to the Head of English, assumes responsibility for maintaining professional standards aligned with school policies. This role is dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching, fostering enhanced learning standards, and nurturing the individual growth of all students.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs dynamic lesson plans following the Teaching and Learning Policy, fostering an environment conducive to outstanding education.
• Communicates clear learning objectives and success criteria, tailoring approaches for students with diverse needs (SEN, EAL, G&T) through personalised learning techniques.
• Structures lessons to sustain pace, challenge, and engagement while leveraging assessment for effective learning.
• Utilises performance data and key indicators to shape differentiated lessons, integrating technology for enriched learning experiences.
