Assistant Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities Assist in the planning and design of civil engineering projects such as roads bridges buildings and drainage systems Conduct site surveys and inspections providing support in measurements and data collection Review and interpret construction drawings plans and specifications Help coordinate and supervise construction activities onsite to ensure proper execution of work Collaborate with the project team to ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications Assist in the preparation of reports progress updates and project documentation Help with managing project timelines costs and resources efficiently Qualifications Experience Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field 2 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on specific type of project e g residential infrastructure Familiarity with engineering design software AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar Strong communication organizational and problemsolving skills Knowledge of construction procedures safety standards and local regulations Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
