Smart Select is a Leading company that runs with a spirit of innovation and an experience to provide a complete reliable solution to our clients with this experience we ve become an expert in the field of Lighting Energy Saving Solutions green building solutions Smart Home and home automation BMS and Low current system Our professional products and services are combined with superior quality and leadingedge technology to assure the maximum customer s serenity with a strict eye on details and considerations to utilize cost and time Smart Select is the subsidiary of Noor Ala Noor which was established in Amman Jordan in and started its services to offer a large range of light fixtures and solutions Job description Position Overview The Estimation Engineer will play a key role in the design estimation and delivery of Home Automation and LCS systems for residential and commercial projects This position involves preparing cost estimates reviewing technical requirements and ensuring that projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards The ideal candidate will have experience in both home automation technologies and low current systems with a strong technical background and a keen eye for detail Immediate Joining Key Responsibilities Develop accurate and detailed cost estimates for home automation and low current systems LCS projects including security systems audiovideo solutions networking lighting control and more Analyze project specifications blueprints and scope of work to create comprehensive estimates Collaborate with project managers design engineers and clients to assess project requirements and provide accurate cost forecasts Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities BOQ and technical submittals Conduct site visits to assess project scope requirements and existing conditions Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material costs and availability Track project progress and provide regular updates on budget vs actual costs Assist in the preparation of tenders bids and proposals Ensure compliance with industry standards local regulations and company policies in all estimates and project planning Identify and mitigate risks related to cost overruns material shortages and other potential issues Provide technical guidance and support to the project team as needed Requirements Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics or a related field or equivalent experience Minimum of 2 years of UAE experience in estimation and cost management for home automation LCS or similar industries Strong understanding of home automation systems security systems audiovisual systems lighting control and network solutions Experience with industrystandard estimation software and tools Knowledge of local building codes regulations and industry standards Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with clients vendors and internal teams Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen eye for detail Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously Previous experience working with home automation or low current systems is highly preferred Preferred Qualifications Professional certifications in Estimation Project Management or Home Automation e g CEA PMP etc Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software is a plus Familiarity with smart home platforms such as Crestron Control4 or KNX Ability to join immediately
