Experience in shore pull of pipelines is an advantage
Mission
- Coordinate work and manpower on board for the assigned shift in compliance with Project specification, in order to ensure
efficient performance and respecting HSE and Quality procedures and practices
Tasks
Assist the Offshore Construction Manager with regard to interdisciplinary coordination of all works on boardSupervise the team of foremen and supervisors, with regard to the various disciplines / categories of construction andassembly work, in order to comply with the quality and safety standard
Coordinate the construction activities during the shift and optimise all production phasesEnsure that the Offshore Construction Manager is kept fully informed of potential problems and construction statusLiaise with Chief Mate, 2nd Engineer and Vessel Equipment Engineer in order to ensure preventive maintenance andconstruction activities
Liaise with subcontractors' supervisors to optimize productionSolve matters related to coordination, priority and interface between the different disciplines in order to meet the scopes ofthe project
Ensure that the Permit-to-Work system for construction crew is adhered to and ensures that the daily Tool Box Talks andJSA, if required, are carried out according to the procedures
Motivate all construction crew / subcontractors with regards to health, safety and environment awarenessEnsure the compliance with the standards dictated by Saipem QHSE policies and safety procedures, in order to perform theactivities in a safe manner
Report incidents and near-miss eventsManage the Crane operations, including coordination with the Chief Mate for main crane movements on board, ROVlaunching and underwater operations
Assist marine operations if requiredProvide a construction report at the end of each shiftAssist the Vessel Field Engineer in the follow up of project equipment and consumable, operation and monitoring of thestinger and JLT
Ensure the rigging gear used is within date and properly markedReport to the Offshore Construction ManagerHow to Apply :
