Structural Design Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Structural Design Engineer based in the UAE with expertise in steel structures to join our team The role involves designing analyzing and detailing steel structures ensuring compliance with codes and standards and collaborating with project teams to deliver highquality structural solutions Key Responsibilities Design and analyze steel structures for buildings and industrial projects Develop detailed design calculations and secure necessary approvals Review and manage shop drawings prepared in Tekla and AutoCAD Perform connection design using tools like Idea Statica RAM LIMCON or custom spreadsheets Conduct quantity takeoffs from Tender IFC drawings Create technical drawings and specifications for construction Collaborate with architects contractors and project stakeholders Perform structural calculations and simulations Review and approve design changes as needed Provide guidance to junior engineers and drafters Ensure compliance with industry standards codes and regulations Conduct site visits and inspections in the UAE Coordinate with teams to meet project deadlines Communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders
