Role And Responsibilities
- Navigate technology routes to Grey, Blue, and Green Hydrogen and Hydrogen derivatives production.
- Navigate technology routes for Carbon Capture leading to eMeOH production.
- Navigate technology routes for Grey and Low Carbon Fuels.
- Provide guiding principles in emissions reduction to the continuous process industries, primarily the hydrocarbons sector.
- Provide guiding principles in energy efficiency measures to the continuous process industries, primarily the hydrocarbons sector.
- Conduct lifecycle cost assessments of licensed solutions for the above via discounted cash flow analysis (capital costing to be performed by others outside the function).
- Offer guidance as a billable SME across multiple studies.
- Be client-facing, leading discussions in early and middle stages, influencing RFPs, and guiding clients to meet their decarbonization objectives.
- Provide thought leadership in the synthesis of fuels and chemicals.
- Advise on customer approaches and navigation of fuels and chemicals markets.
- Engage in activities to grow and shape opportunities, including proposal development with execution methodology and differentiators.
- Provide SME oversight during project execution to ensure alignment with proposals and sector trends.
Skills And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.Preferably 15+ years’ experience in the energy sector.Fluency in decarbonization and new energy production technologies, including licensors.Knowledge of Low Carbon Fuels (e.g., SAF).Ability to simulate and monetize technology preferences using AspenPlus, HYSYS, Unisim, Promax, Protreat, or similar tools.Strong presentation and influencing skills to effectively communicate Worley's value proposition.Experience with project economics, hydrogen and ammonia production (both green and blue preferred), and front-end project development.Proficiency in presenting techno-economic assessments.Moving forward together
