The Role
We are looking for Offshore Service Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis. This role involves a lot of travelling / working away which is on an ad-hoc basis, so flexibility is essential.
The purpose of the Offshore Service Engineer is to operate, service & maintain the hire fleet in accordance with Scantech Offshore maintenance procedure.
Key Duties & Responsibilities :
Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Manager within the timeframe specified, in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable, and you are deemed competent to fulfil these.
Qualifications / Skills / Experience required :
Essential :
The role would suit an experienced CAT diesel mechanic or hydraulic engineer.
Ideally you will also have experience of working in an offshore environment.
Preferred :
The Person :
You will have the ability to establish a good rapport with clients whilst onsite along with good communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills are also a must.
The offshore work is not a set pattern, so flexibility is required to be able to go offshore on an ad hoc basis as the business requires.
For this role you must have the right to reside and work in the UAE.
