Pediatric Surgeon

We are in search of a dedicated Pediatric Surgeon to join our team. This vital role focuses on providing high-quality surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents suffering from a variety of medical conditions. As a Pediatric Surgeon, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations, perform delicate surgical procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will bring a compassionate approach to patient care and involve families throughout the treatment process. You will be key in educating patients and their families about surgical procedures, pre-operative and post-operative care, and long-term management.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of a residency in General Surgery and a fellowship in Pediatric Surgery
• Board certification in Pediatric Surgery preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pediatric Surgeon
• Strong proficiency in performing a variety of pediatric surgical procedures
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate demeanor with a focus on young patients and their families
• Active medical license to practice in the state
• Commitment to continuous education and staying updated with advancements in pediatric surgery
